Audiomob expands to New York and Abu Dhabi. Wilfrid relocates the engineering team to Abu Dhabi. This move enhances the company’s global presence, strengthens collaboration across regions and attracts top international talent to drive continued innovation and growth.

Wilfrid Obeng named Start Up Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, recognising his leadership as co-founder and CTO of Audiomob. Wilfrid meets the British Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street.

Wilfrid Obeng and Christian Facey secure a $14M Series A for Audiomob from Makers Fund, Lightspeed and Google, valuing the company at over $100M. Wilfrid leads the expansion of the ad-serving infrastructure, SDKs and oversees engineering recruitment.

Wilfrid Obeng and Christian Facey raise $1.5M in seed funding from Supernode Global, Atomico and Angel Investors. Wilfrid leads the creation of the MVP and onboards the first developer customers.

Wilfrid Obeng and Christian Facey founded Audiomob to transform app monetisation. Audiomob enables developers to earn revenue from their games and apps using audio ads, that do not interrupt the user experience.

Wilfrid is promoted then moves to Google London as a Customer Solutions Engineer. He builds tools and dashboards for sales teams to track advertiser performance on Display & Video 360 using SQL, Java and JavaScript.

Wilfrid works at Google Dublin as a Programmatic Account Strategist, leading digital marketing strategy for clients such as Amazon, Hilton, Intercontinental, Hertz and HomeAway. He drives programmatic campaign performance and builds automation tools with JavaScript, SQL and HTML.

Wilfrid invited by the US Embassy to attend President Barack Obama’s speech at Lindley Hall, in recognition of his work as an ambassador for the Amos Bursary.

Wilfrid named one of the UK’s top 10 Computer Science students in the Undergraduate of the Year Awards.

Wilfrid receives the Outstanding Student Award from Pure Potential for his academic excellence and dedication beyond the classroom, reflecting his passion for Computer Science.

Wilfrid works at Google London as a Cloud Intern, contributing to Google Docs, Calendar, Sheets and Slides. He builds a Chrome extension that automates note taking by creating and sharing documents with all event attendees through Google Drive.

Wilfrid works with the Digital Recruitment team to find skilled professionals in Android, Python and iOS development. He builds strong relationships with candidates to understand their skills and ambitions, helping match them with roles suited to their experience and goals.

Wilfrid manages Bloomberg ambassador teams across universities in England, France, Spain and the Czech Republic. He promotes the Bloomberg Aptitude Test, Bloomberg Market Concepts and Bloomberg careers, driving student engagement and participation across campuses.

Wilfrid develops Android apps for the Retail, Media, Manufacturing and Hospitality sectors that let clients use Google Sheets as a free backend alternative to traditional databases. He builds the apps using Java and App Script.

Wilfrid is named one of the top ten students from the Afro-Caribbean community in the UK. The recognition is awarded by a panel of judges including Tom Chigbo, Adrian Joseph, David Lammy MP, Trevor Phillips OBE and Jean Tomlin OBE.

Wilfrid works at Goldman Sachs in the Technology Division within the financial reporting subgroup to ensure the timely delivery of regulatory information. He develops a dashboard that visually tracks and presents the health of derivative reporting pipelines.

Wilfrid is recognised by Powerful Media as “A Future Leader” following a selective shortlisting and interview process.

Wilfrid plans and develops creative advertising and marketing campaigns across university campuses for Teach First, a charity that tackles educational disadvantage by training exceptional graduates and professionals to become effective teachers.

Wilfrid received the Beyond Outstanding Student Award from the Amos Bursary in recognition of his academic and professional achievements. The award was presented by actor Alan Rickman.

Wilfrid secures a internship at Excelian, a technology consultancy specialising in Financial Services, Utilities and Energy. He enhances existing software to create a Universal Backup Image that automates Windows installation, driver setup, company software and staff registration.

Wilfrid creates a frontend for a banking application that transforms raw sales data into structured information using a volatility calculator and visualises the results.

Wilfrid gains an internship at Fuse8, one of the largest website creation agencies, where he designs and codes website elements for large projects.
